About Us

Salvage Supermarket has been in operation for over 15 years. The company is owned by Manfred Hirsch and is located in Winnipeg, Manitoba on over 25 acres of indoor and outdoor property. We specialize in the recycling and reuse of building materials and so much more.

The primary objective of Salvage Supermarket is to utilize our demolition crew in order to minimize waste. Most of the dismantling is done by hand which keeps the materials from going to the landfill sites. The impact we are making on waste diversion has grown dramatically through being diligent in our efforts.
 
We provide a safe working atmosphere by complying with all health, safety and environmental regulations.
 
We provide contractors, homeowners, nurseries, farm communities, developers, architects, and movie studios, to mention only a few, with affordable supplies to complete almost any project.

Our inventory constantly changes, so check the site regularly!

We carry products such as i-beams, steel trusses, electric motors, hot water tanks, furnaces, corrugated tin, lumber, toilets, sinks including stainless steel, vanities, lights, doors, windows, and too many other items to list.
